It looked like a nice deck!

The other day we were hired to make some repairs to a home for an elderly couple. What started out as a painting a window sill where there is some water spots turned out to be a Huge deck replacement project. What happened is that the "Custom Home Builder" that they bought the home from 10 years ago did not install flashing where the deck attached to the house, did not use treated lumber on the deck framing, and now the whole thing needs to be rebuilt. What a waste, $50 worth of flashing, and another $1,500 in treated lumber and this deck would have lasted 10-15 more years. Check out these pictures and remember who to call if you want it done Right!
